Today’s show at the County Line went well and the large crowd seemed to enjoy themselves. Thanks to Dale Hull,W.D.Hay and a special thanks to my daughter Ellyn Parker and my grandaughter Alia, who attended my performance.This was the first time that my grandaughter had ever seen me perform as she lives in California and it was a very special moment for me.
I will be back at the County line on August 7th with my new song about the County Line. Mel Parker

I only just got to listen to your new cd a couple of weeks ago and I loved it! Then on a trip to Richmond last week I listened to it again and still loved it. Your Leonard Cohen song “Hallelujah”(http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=hN8CKwdosjE) made me think of the clip I’ve attached. It has evidently been around for a couple of years, but I just saw it about a month ago and was quite captivated.
Thanks to WSLS TV 10 for playing my music on the morning shows. I have had positive comments from several friends who have heard my songs. I first heard of the request from Karen McNew, and I am grateful to her and the Staff at WSLS for making the opportunity possible. Mel Parker
